Founded in 2007, MAMA is the premier association in Michigan assisting manufacturers in their diversification efforts into the aerospace industry. This association helps firms bid for work within the aerospace industry.
Metal Treating Institute (MTI)
The Metal Treating Institute is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association that was established in 1933. MTI represents the largest network of commercial heat treaters in the world. MTI also represents manufacturers with in-house heat treating operations and suppliers who serve both commercial and captive heat treaters.
Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA)
The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) is a voluntary national trade association representing the major segments of the industrial heat processing equipment industry. The organization includes designers and manufacturers of all types of industrial heat processing equipment used for the melting, refining and heat processing of ferrous and nonferrous metals and certain nonmetallic materials and heat treatment of products made from them.
ASM International: Heat Treating Society
Founded in Detroit in 1913 as The Steel Treaters Club, ASM International is a member led organization that serves the international materials community by providing information and resources. ASM Heat Treating Society is the world’s largest network of heat treaters, and Heat Treat Society members work to provide events and services to serve their worldwide membership of captive and commercial heat treaters, equipment manufacturers, researchers, and governments and technicians.
